William Taylor is the principal in charge and
provides guidance and oversight to project managers in his firm. Mr. Taylor's
academic background is in marine and freshwater aquatic ecosystems analysis.
As a senior scientist, Mr. Taylor has almost 20 years experience in water
quality, fisheries, habitat restoration, data analysis, and modeling. His
experience in modeling has ranged from lake phosphorus loading and whole lake
trophic status modeling to dissolved oxygen sag modeling and instream flow
modeling using the USFWS IFIM model. His technical background covers the areas
of pollutant loading, water quality dynamics, and modeling; aquatic habitat
analysis, population dynamics, limnology, food web interactions, aquatic chemistry,
hydrology and hydraulics, coastal and estuarine ecology, and impacts of toxic
substances. As principal-in-charge, Mr. Taylor provides guidance and oversight
to staff and project managers. He is involved upfront with monitoring program
development, which includes preparation of Quality Assurance Project Plans
(QAPP). The QAPP process provides explicit project objectives and ensures
that data collection and analysis efforts are designed to meet those objectives.
