Suzanne Osborne is an aquatic scientist at Taylor Associates, Inc. She brings over four years of experience in geological sciences, forest engineering, and hydrology. Ms. Osborne is a field team member at Taylor Associates, Inc. Her responsibilities include assisting in reconnaissance of monitoring station locations, selecting and procuring monitoring equipment, installing and maintaining monitoring stations, collecting water quality samples, calibrating and maintaining field equipment, and entering field data. She also assists in the conducting of riparian vegetation assessments, pool habitat surveys, cross-section and longitudinal profiles, pebble counts, and macroinvertebrate sampling.
Prior to joining Taylor Associates, Inc., she worked as a research assistant and hydrologic technician in association with the Hood Canal Dissolved Oxygen Program. She coordinated the monthly ambient monitoring program for 38 streams, compiled historical water and soil log data, installed piezometer wells and seepage meters in intertidal zone, conducted water quality sampling and field measurements, qualitative and statistical analyses of nutrient and redox chemistry data, and assisted with literature reviews and reporting requirements.
