Amy Miller is an aquatic scientist at Taylor
Associates, Inc. She brings over four years of experience in environmental
science. Her course work includes wildland hydrology, watershed ecology and
management, and marine resource management and conservation. Ms. Miller is
a field team member at Taylor Associates, Inc. Her responsibilities include
assisting in reconnaissance of station locations, selecting and procuring
monitoring equipment, installing and maintaining monitoring stations, collecting
water quality samples, calibrating and maintaining field equipment, and downloading
and managing field data. She also assists in the collection of freshwater
and marine epibenthic invertebrate organisms for several projects. Prior to
joining Taylor Associates, she gained extensive field experience assisting
with three graduate studies for which she collected forest and soils data
as well as spent a year sorting macroinvertebrates for a doctorate level MDN
study. She also assisted in the collection of baseline hydrologic data on
a small watershed in Costa Rica. Most recently, she worked as a lab and data
technician for the University of Washington's- Alaska Salmon Program.
