Carla Milesi is an aquatic scientist at Taylor Associates, Inc. She has been working in this field since 1997, with experience spanning the non-profit, private and public sectors on both a technical and project management level. Ms. Milesi’s experience in aquatic sciences include stream and stormwater monitoring, stream restoration, volunteer training and management, public education, and field crew leadership. As a member of the Taylor Associates, Inc. team, her technical, project management, and public involvement experience contributes a diverse set of skills, which enables her to provide support across a variety of water-related environmental projects. Her responsibilities include developing and implementing monitoring programs to assess best management practices (BMPs) and stormwater treatment technologies, developing reports, quality assurance project plans, and monitoring plants, analyzing flow and water quality data, operating, maintaining, and calibrating field water quality and flow monitoring instruments, collecting, handling, and identifying marine fish, and identifying freshwater and marine invertebrates. Prior to joining Taylor Associates in 2003, Ms. Milesi spent four years developing and managing the Stream Team Program for the Friends of Hylebos Wetlands.

When not working Carla enjoys skiing, hiking, running, gardening and spending time with her husband and two children.
