(206) 267-1403
Bryan Berkompas is a hydrologist and aquatic scientist
with Taylor Associates, Inc. He has been involved in a range of surface
water and groundwater projects for eight years. Mr. Berkompas has experience
in telemetry, low impact development monitoring, storm water monitoring,
sediment/water quality analysis, fluvial geomorphology, and surveying.
Bryan’s graduate research at the University of Washington examined
flood-related channel changes in a small mountain stream using
cross-sectional surveys, flume measurements, pebble counts, and reach-scale
classification systems. Mr. Berkompas’ responsibilities at Taylor
Associates, Inc. include technical design lead, field team leadership, and
project management for monitoring projects. He is responsible for the
design, implementation and maintenance of telemetered weather, flow, and
water quality monitoring stations. Bryan also collects water samples using
auto-samplers and manual techniques during storm and base flow conditions
for a variety of projects and manages the data collected with those
projects. He is also responsible for project administration and budget
tracking; data management, organization, and analysis; and reporting.
