Bryan Berkompas is a hydrologist and aquatic scientist
with Taylor Associates, Inc. He has been involved in a range of surface water
and groundwater projects for four years. Mr. Berkompas has experience in storm
water monitoring, sediment/water quality analysis, fluvial geomorphology,
and surveying. Bryan’s graduate research at the University of Washington examined
flood-related channel changes in a small mountain stream using cross-sectional
surveys, flume measurements, pebble counts, and reach-scale classification
systems. Mr. Berkompas’ responsibilities at Taylor Associates, Inc. include
field team leadership and project management for monitoring projects. He is
responsible for collecting water samples using auto-samplers and manual techniques
during storm and base flow conditions for a variety of projects and managing
the data collected with those projects. He is also responsible for project
administration and budget tracking; data management, organization, and analysis;
and reporting.
