WATERSHED STUDIES
East Hylebos Creek Monitoring Program, King County Department
of Natural Resources and Parks, (2001-2002)
Taylor Associates, Inc. developed and implemented a monitoring program to characterize water quality, stream flow and aquatic habitat conditions in the lower reaches of the East Hylebos Creek system. The monitoring program was designed to allow comparison of data from this project to historic data (from the basin plan) and water quality criteria as well as data collected from similar projects. Related project experience included developing rating curves, analyzing base flow and storm flow water quality, analyzing benthic macroinvertebrate samples, and writing a final report.
