Duwamish East Waterway Channel Deepening Project, Port of
Seattle (1998-2003)
Taylor Associates, Inc. was responsible for conducting beach seining and epibenthic invertebrate sampling in the Duwamish River estuary. Project results supported the selection of dredge disposal sites for Duwamish East waterway deepening project. Additional project responsibilities included marine fish handling and identification, epibenthic organism collection and identification, data analysis, and development of a recommendations report. Staff produced a recommendations report which assessed juvenile salmonid migration patterns and corresponding habitat restoration recommendations.
