(2002-2004)
Taylor Associates, Inc. was responsible for monitoring and evaluating water quality associated with a road and bridge construction project, with an emphasis on load estimation for total suspended solids and total phosphorus into North Fork Issaquah Creek. Load estimation required determination of discharge during the course of the water quality monitoring and periodic updating of the stage-discharge relationships. The monitoring results documented project compliance with specific total suspended solids and phosphorus loading limits for regional lake management regulations for Lake Sammamish. Project duties included developing of experimental design for collection and analysis of streamflow, precipitation, and water quality data; preparing the quality assurance project plan; installing and maintaining monitoring equipment; establishing and updating stage-discharge relationships; continuous monitoring year-round of streamflow and rainfall; collecting water samples; managing and analyzing data; and writing project reports.
