This 2-ft H-flume was fabricated and installed by Taylor Associates to measure the flow from one of three major tributaries to Lake Reba, a stormwater detention facility near Seattle-Tacoma Airport.   View from inside of culvert just downstream of H-flume in photo above. Area-velocity probe in foreground, initially installed, was found to be affected by backwater and to be less accurate compared to the H-flume.
